We are excited to announce our new feature-length documentary project REACHING NEW HEIGHTS: FAZLUR RAHMAN KHAN AND THE SKYSCRAPER.

The documentary tells the story of the American structural engineer Fazlur Rahman Khan, a Muslim immigrant from Bangladesh. Khan designed the iconic Sears (Willis) Tower and John Hancock Center in Chicago and developed a series of structural systems that marked a turning point in skyscraper construction worldwide, allowing builders to go higher than ever before possible.

“Khan gave architects the ability to design buildings that they couldn’t dream of before.”
- John Zils, Structural Engineer (ret’d.), Skidmore, Owings & Merrill
